Mental health can affect physical health. Mental disorders or illnesses may raise your risk for physical health problems. For example, a person who is suffering from anxiety disorder experiences various symptoms like insomnia, heart palpitations, trembling, breathlessness, loss of appetite, weight loss, panic attacks, etc.

People are living quite busy lives where they hardly get time for themselves. The hectic schedule they have keeps them busy all the time under lots of work pressure which I agree with but on the other hand, there is an important thing they are forgetting which is their mental health. If mental health starts to function poorly then everything gets affected including their work life. Mental health is important in every way. Without it, a person can never lead a happy life. It is an important tool to deal with your own problems, cope with stressful situations, help to maintain relationships with others, make decisions and work effectively and productively.

Mental health is as important as physical health and one can never forget it and people need to know that it is something they need to pay attention to. If mental health is disturbed then everything is disturbed and it is not a good sign. It is so important for all of us to be aware of our mental health.  Many people are at risk because they ignore their issues or problems related to their mental health.  

People should learn about mental health and educate themselves about mental health on their own. It will help you to understand the nature of the problem and the situation you are dealing with and will provide you with ways to clear your perspective. It will guide you to take the most appropriate step if you feel even a slight unfavorable change in you and will also help you to know when you require assistance from a professional. Mental health is a treasure and we must take care of it.
